Crime, Consequence and Responsibility
Crime, Consequence and Responsibility was an innovative Nottingham based project which sought to address the lack of trust between the Criminal Justice System (CJS) and the young Asian community. The project was launched in January 2010 and ran until May 2010. This lack of trust was established through open dialogues with the young people. Such dialogues were continued with members of the criminal justice system which often led to many passionate debates. Such dialogues led to relationships being improved as they were finally able to understand each other on a level which would not be achievable without this project.
The series of short radio plays that were produced in line with the project are now being distributed on CD. The radio plays can be used to promote group discussion and are a valuable resource for anyone working with young people. Please feel free to contact us if you would like a copy.
