Human Relations Network (HRN)
Human Relations Network (HRN) is a Nottingham based Social Enterprise whose primary objectives are to promote, Equality, Community Cohesion and Partnership-working. We work effectively with the Private, Public and Third Sectors to deliver innovative and equitable programmes and solutions.
We practice a holistic approach to mainstreaming training and diversity management that provides bespoke support to the voluntary, public and statutory sectors across the East Midlands. Our approach has been developed in managing a variety of projects including work for the Central, Regional and Local Government.
Our Social Aims
We are not ‘money-grabbing’ consultants seeking to get rich on the back of prejudice and discrimination. Far from it, income earned enables us to support those who cannot afford pay for support & advice or it funds our strategic involvement with the key agencies that look after our communities. On average we give back one day per week to meet our social aims.
Local organisations supported on a regular basis include:
- Enable
- Nottingham Common Purpose (Advisory Group)
- Nottinghamshire Police (Minority Ethnic Advisory Group)
- One Nottingham (Community Cohesion & Empowerment Forum)
- PATRA Inc. ACDA
- The Partnership Council
The benefits work both ways:
- We provide free specialist support to these organisations
- It improves the quality and relevance of our work giving us a unique insight into what’s happening in our city and helps us to avoid duplication!
So you can rest assured that by contracting with us to provide innovative equality and diversity solutions you are also contributing to making Nottingham a fairer and more equitable city.
